What is the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival?

Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival is an annual event filled with dozens of the region’s best food trucks, plus live music and entertainment, craft beer and wine, regional artisans and vendors, a kids’ area and lots more.

How much does it cost?

Admission for the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival is FREE to enter! Bring the whole family- this event is family-friendly, even though the venue is a casino.

When is it?

The  Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival is happening May 22-24, 2026.

Where does it happen?

The Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival is at the Hollywood Casino at The Meadows in Washington County. The festival is outdoors, on the racetrack apron.

Can I bring the kids?

ABSOLUTELY! Bring the kids down to the kids’ zone, available all weekend, and there’s lots of other family-friendly entertainment.

Do I have to walk through the casino to get to the festival?

No, once you enter the building from either garage, head downstairs and out to the entrance to the racetrack apron.

Where should I park?

The Meadows has lots of parking options. There are two parking garages. The South garage is the first garage you encounter as you enter, and the North garage is on the other side of the main casino building. Both will get you inside, where you can head downstairs to the racetrack apron. There is also a large parking lot by the main casino entrance.

Is there seating and where can I find it?

We have benches and picnic tables set up all over the festival. Head over to the building entrance, to the left of the grandstand, and you’ll find tables and chairs outside under the roof and right inside the building as well. There’s also tons of seating on the grandstand.

If this event is outside, what happens if it rains?

Bring an umbrella! Actually, rain or shine, we will do our best to keep the festival open, and there are areas inside the casino to wait out the rain.

The Observer-Reporter is proud to bring regional events like the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival to Southwestern PA. While the event is at the Meadows Casino, it is an Observer-Reporter event organized by the Observer-Reporter’s Events division.

What is Family Fun Night?

Family Fun Night is a special family-friendly event in conjunction with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival weekend brought to you by Meadows Casino. Past family nights have included extra kids’ activities, balloon artists, face painting, vendors, tasty food and live horse racing!

What is the Marketplace?

The Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival isn’t just about great food – there’s also great shopping, art and local service vendors. We’ll have everything from clothes and apparel to locally made wine and spirits, art, home and life services, and even artisanal cheeses.

Can I bring my food truck?

Sure – but first we need a little information first, so don’t just show up! We’re always looking for new trucks and interesting concepts. Just fill out the food truck application form.

How can I be a vendor?

Our marketplace is filled with unique regional vendors, ranging from clothing and apparel to art, services, food items and more. Pretty much anything you can sell or provide as a service will be considered. Apply to be a vendor with our event vendor form.
